Ingredients
| 250 g | Unsalted Butter or FREE MeadowLea |
| 250 g | Caster Sugar |
| 250 g | Plain Flour |
| 100 g | Choc bits |
| 3 teasp | Baking Powder |
| 250g | Hazelnut Meal |
| 4 | Eggs |
| 2-3 drops | Bitter Almond Essence |
Instructions
- Beat sugar, butter and eggs until light and fluffy, add B/A Essence
- Mix and sieve plain flour with baking powder
- Add hazelnut meal.
- Add choc bits
- Fold under butter mix.
- Pour into fluted baking pan and bake at 165 - 175 C for 50-60 min.
Icing
1 - 1 1/2 cups icing sugar + 3 heaped tablesp cadbury cocoa, 1 tablesp unsalted butter + boiling water
