- Received a call from Sony Customer Service. The survey stated but it was abruptly cut when the call got cut and CS did not call again.

I placed an order for this notebook on 12 March 2007 (Monday). I was told to fax or email a facsimile of my driver's licence and credit card, which I promptly e-mailed to sony_presales@mailus.com.au on the same day. On the 16th of March 2007 (Friday), we called to enquire about the status of our order, we were told that the unit has arrived in Australia and we expect delivery in 2-3 days.
Today 19 March 2007 (Monday) - I called to just check that everything is in order. To my horror - I was told that the order has not even started yet and that Sony has not received a fax of my ID.
My questions are:
- Why didn't anyone check the e-mail for sony_presales@mailus.com.au?
- Why didn't anyone follow us up that our order is awaiting action from us?
- Why didn't anyone tell us that our order has not progressed last Friday 16 March - when we called?
It took some prodding on my call today for someone to get off their butt to check the status of my order to find out that it has not progress and never will.
Even after I faxed my ID and Credit Card this morning, my order has still not been promptly placed until I followed it up with a call in the afternoon. And to make matters worst, there is still no confirmation from Sony, that my order has been placed.
