TNS: lost contact Oracle 10g
The most problems are caused by missing packages. Here is my list which worked for me to install 10g:
-gcc
-make
-binutils
-lesstif2 libc6
-libc6-dev
-rpm
-libaio
-libaio-dev
-libstdc++5
-libstdc++5-3.3-dev
