The https://www.rommelpascual.com/gallery2/ is almost complete. This is a hosted version of the https://artipax.rommelpascual.com. The main difference of the 2 sites is that one is in a web hosting company in Germany and the other is in my computer room here in Sydney.
The interface between the WordPress and Gallery2 a.k.a WPG2 plugin is still broken. I’ve applied the known fixed in the template but the side bar remains to be broken. My WP install and Gallery2 installs are SVN releases, which means that the are the latest versions but also relatively unstable. WPG2 is known not to work with the current stable releases of Gallery2 and WordPress.
Some 6,000 more photos are to be updated for Jeanne’s folder and thanks to a skin allergy I recently contracted – I was quarantined at home and had time to work on these websites.
The photo on the right is totally unrelated except for the fact that it was inserted using the G2 plugin. I still don’t like its presentation when you click the photo. It would have been better if it just spawned a different page.
I’ve discovered that setting the Gallery2 to open external to WordPress will remove a generated Page called WPG2. This is the page intended to be the embedded Gallery page within WordPress. It does not look like embedded at all – it look more like an included URL within a frame. It is better to just open a new window for it.
