Thomas and Mum

Meet Thomas and Mum Meet Thomas and Mum. This is a sample code that I’ve been trying to achieve in WordPress after writing my first blog in WP without reading the basic features of the editor. It uses old HTML code called “align” instead of CSS codes to position the image. This is because WordPress considers CSS as a security risk and strips the code when saved via its editor.

But – I can live with it – if you really want to write CSS then program the themes, it’s less open to the public, limited only to the site admin. I also found a helpful site to add ‘bling’ to blogs using HTML codes. The site is the WordPress Tips site.

Sorry Thomas and Mum – The blog was not really about you, but you look very colorful and interesting to be my sample photo. Hopefully, I’ll find something interesting to write about you. I’d put your Dad in the photo but he’ll be harping about his superman abs again 🙂

The image is added using the regular image handler of the WordPress default visual editor. Adding hspace and vspace on the object ensures that the text do not write all the way to the edge of the image – giving it a bit more isolation as it should.
